Does anybody realize that beyond their partisanship, Democrats and Republicans achieve little when in power?

Seriously, we've heard the Democrats and the Republicans bicker on and on for who knows how long. Does anybody realize that despite who you elect, they never seem to achieve anything remarkable? That they just lash out and play politics at each other all day?
