Prefer/not prefer: Texas, Oklahoma, Kentucky. Why?

My inlaws have a house with lakefront property in a small town called Cadiz in Kentucky. It's really beautiful there, I think so anyway. But,, they are out in the middle of no where and they like it like that. I love going there to visit. I guess it just depends on where you go in the state. Never been to Oklahoma or Texas. But, plan to travel to every state in this wonderful country of mine before the day I die!!!
